1. General

The opening time and date of the competition is Sunday 5th July 2009 at 00:01 GMT, and the closing date and time for receipt of entries is Wednesday 5th August at 23:59 GMT. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.

2. Restrictions

This prize draw is open to UK residents aged eighteen (18) and over only. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of “Electronic Arts” (“EA”) (“Promoter”), their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter.

3. Rules to participate

Entrants must hold a valid UK PlayStation Network (PSN) account attached to a genuine email account. Upon completing a lap of Vodafone Taxi GP users will automatically be entered into the competition. There is no limit to the number of times an entrant may complete a lap.

4. Prize(s)

The eligible PSN account that posts the fastest time between Sunday 5th July 2009 2009 at 00:01 GMT and Wednesday 5th August at 23:59 GMT will win:

One (1) “McLaren Technology Centre Visit” which includes a tour of the McLaren Technology Centre for the winner plus one guest, food and drinks throughout the visit and a presentation by McLaren staff. The date of the visit will be advised at least 10 days in advance using the email address supplied by the winner. The email will contain a detailed Guest Information document, which will include relevant meet points and accreditation information.

One (1) piece of merchandise signed by Lewis Hamilton or Heikki Kovalainen (choice of merchandise will be at Vodafone’s discretion). This will be posted by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery to the address supplied by the winner on being contacted. The delivery will require a signature or will be returned to the relevant Royal Mail distribution centre for collection. The prizes will be dispatched within 8 weeks of the winner being notified.

There are no alternatives to these prizes. They are as stated and are non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of EA, EA is unable to provide the stated prizes, EA reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier.

Please note that travel costs are not included. EA strongly recommend that the winner secures their own travel, accomodation and insurance cover before attending the “McLaren Technology Centre Visit”.

5. Results

Winners will be contacted by email within 14 days of the closing date.

If the winner of the prize cannot be traced within 30 days after reasonable efforts have been made by EA, EA will be entitled to select alternative winner from among the entrants.

If the winner of the prize does not claim the prize within 60 days the prize will forfeit.

A full list of who won will be available for four (4) weeks following the day of the selection of winners. This list can be obtained by writing to EA SPORTS Vodafone Competition, Electronic Arts, Onslow House, Onslow Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4TN

If proof of age is requested, the prize shall not be dispatched unless proof of age is received and if satisfactory proof of age is not received, the Promoter reserves the rights to choose another winner.

6. General Conditions

Any entry, which does not comply with the rules may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of EA. EA is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, garbled, delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to mobile entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery.

Entrants agree that they may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness.

In the event of a dispute, the decision of EA shall be final and legally binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

7. Data protection

In order to participate in the campaign participants must provide certain information on themselves. This personal information is collected and processed only for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring the campaign, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it. The organising entity shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information.

By entering this prize draw players agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material, which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter.

The Promoter of this prize draw is EA Swiss Sàrl, Place du Molard 8, 1204 Geneva, Switzerland.

This prize draw is governed by and is in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
